Outreach and Evangelism Month

This Month at FBC Moberly we’ve been focusing heavily on outreach and evangelism. We’ve gone “all the way in” on reaching “all the way out” into our community and our world with the Good News of Jesus!

So far this month we’ve:

  • Commissioned two men to share the Gospel in Juarez, Mexico on mission.
  • Served the hungry at Community Kitchen and engaged them with conversations about Jesus.
  • Shared the Gospel with 60+ at a local conference.

In the next week we will:

  • Hang 250 door hangers, inviting our neighbors to join us for our fall family fun day.
  • Invite our friends, family and neighbors to church for 5th Sunday–a new tradition at FBC where we invite people to hear the Gospel on the months where there 5th Sunday.
  • Host our Fall Family Fun Day where we hope to serve our neighbors and friends with a day of fun and share the Gospel with those in our community.
  • Pass out 1,250 treat bags filled with candy, gospel tracts and invites to the church.

We’re focused on doing the work of an evangelist this month. We would love to see the Lord bless our efforts, but our role is to stay focused on the task at hand. We will do the work the Lord has called us to and trust him to do the work of saving–and we’ll give him the glroy for every single thing that happens along the way!

He’s the one who has given us the strength to serve HIm. He’s the one who who has given us the resources to serve Him. He is the one who gives us the ideas. And we give him glory, honor and praise!

Will you pray for us this week? Pray the Lord is honored. Pray the Lord gives us strength. Pray the Lord gives us all we need to finish out this month strong for his glory. And if you are in Moberly, come and join us for church this Sunday at FBC Moberly! We meet at 514 W. Rollins at 10:45am. Be sure and say hello!

To God be the glory, great things He has done.
To God be the glory, great things He will do!
